First United Methodist Church
The First United Methodist Stony Point Community Center was a ground up project for Kirby Construction Company, Inc. the building’s graceful design by Glass Architects was intricate in its simplicity, consisting of a clear span of 45 feet with a peak reaching 28 feet. The finished project looks effortless but was no ordinary feat. During the 11 month duration, the project team was able to overcome all obstacles and deliver a finished project of the highest quality. The project was a collaboration of a dedicated church board, a persistent architect, and a faithful contractor. Today the building stands a testament to a church’s motivation to provide an enlightened space. Kirby Construction Company, Inc. is both proud and thankful to be a part of the experience.
